Three soldiers were reportedly killed by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers at Aduwawa along the
Benin-Auchi Road. Two officials of the Reynold Construction Company were also
abducted.
Soldiers have been providing security for RCC officials after they
stopped work at the Benin-Lagos express road over incessant kidnappings.
Although details of the attack are yet to be known, a top army official confirmed the killing.
The Police Public Relation Officer, Edo State Command, Moses
Eguavoen, said he was yet to get details of the kidnappings and
killings.
