Former Chief Security Officer to the late Head of State, General Mohammed Abacha, Major Hamza Al- Mustapha, has been discharged and
acquitted bt the Lagos Division of the Appeal Court of the conspiracy and murder
charges against him.
Mustapha has been standing trial since 1999 for allegedly
masterminding the assassination of Late Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, wife of
presumed winner of the 1993 Presidential election, Chief M.K.O. Abiola.
