Leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Monday named
Second Republic Minister of Transport, Alhaji Umaru Dikko as Chairman,
National Disciplinary Committee of the party.
Dikko, the former head of the
Presidential Task Force on Rice during ex- President Shehu Shagari, is
heading a seven- member committee that has a third power broker in President
Goodluck Jonathan’s Kitchen Cabinet, the Obanema of Opume Kingdom, Bayelsa
State, King A.J Turner as Deputy Chairman.
Other members of the Committee are
the Publisher of Champion Newspaper and member, Board of Trustees, BoT, Chief
Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu; former Deputy National Chairman and BoT member,
Alhaji. Shuaibu Oyedokun Hajiya Nana Aishat Kadiri;
Barr. Hussaini Diraki and Sen. Emmanuel Agboti to serve as
member and Secretary.
